Embracing Change: My Journey from Nature’s Bounty to Airport Life

Hello, Everyone, Myself Sourav Das and I am based out of Kolkata, residing at chandpara north 24 Parganas West Bengal. From the serene landscapes of my childhood to the bustling airports of Delhi, my journey has been nothing short of transformative. As a child, I reveled in the beauty of nature that surrounded me, finding solace in the greenery and the melodies of birdsong. Little did I know that life would take me on a path where airports and airplanes would become my new home.

Driven by the pursuit of better opportunities, I made the leap to Delhi and joined SpiceJet as a Support Staff member. The decision was daunting at first, navigating a new city and a new career path, but from the moment I stepped into SpiceJet, I knew I had found more than just a job – I found a family.

The airport environment was initially overwhelming, but the warmth and support of my team and seniors quickly eased my transition. Their guidance and encouragement enabled me to sharpen my skills and grow both personally and professionally. Today, stationed at Kolkata airport, I cherish the companionship of my friends, colleagues, and mentors who make each day fulfilling and enjoyable.

Beyond my professional life, I hold a deep passion for plantation and music. Whenever time allows, I immerse myself in nurturing plants and finding inspiration in melodies that soothe the soul. These hobbies not only provide a welcome escape but also rejuvenate my spirit to face the demands of airport life.

Throughout my journey, one realization has remained steadfast: the joy of helping others, assisting travellers and ensuring their comfort during their journeys has become more than a duty – it is a source of immense satisfaction and happiness. I take pride in being part of a team at SpiceJet that goes above and beyond to assist customers, turning their travel experiences into memorable journeys.

I am profoundly grateful to the entire SpiceJet team for providing me with this platform and recognizing my contributions.
